First Sergeant Retired Jonathan G. Hill hails from Blacksburg, Virginia and enlisted in the United States Army on May 26 1992. He completed his One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky with the title designator of 19 Delta, Cavalry Scout. His assignments were 3-11 Armored Cavalry Regiment, 3-3 Armored Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, 5-15th Cavalry Squadron, 4-4 Infantry Division, and 4-162d Infantry Division. He has served as a Dismount, Loader, Driver, Gunner, and Commander on numerous armored and combat vehicles such as the Bradley Fighting, HMMWV, and MATV.  He has served in several leadership roles as Squad Leader, Section Sergeant, Senior Scout, Observer Controller, Senior Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, and Battalion Command Sergeants Major. He has deployed to numerous training, peacekeeping, and combat operations in foreign countries such as Germany, Kuwait, Bosnia, Croatia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His awards and decorations include the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal(2), Army Commendation Medal (5), Army Achievement Medal (7), Good Conduct Medal (6), National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Star, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Star, Afghanistan Expeditionary Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (3), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon (5), NATO Medal with 1 Bronze Star, Combat Action Badge , The Order of Saint George (Bronze). Foreign awards are the Gold German Schutzenschnur and the Latvian Army Medal of Diligence. Jonathan was medically retired in April 2013 after 21 years of active duty service from the United States Army.

Jonathan was medically retired in April 2013 after 21 years of active duty service from the United States Army and is an advocate for soldiers with PTSD and currently the Business Development Representative for Fort Behavioral and their Mission Recovery program.  Jonathan is also the Vice President of American Infidels Motorcycle club, On the Board of Directors for Throttle Therapy and Spartan Action Network. Jonathan currently resides in Fort Worth, TX where he enjoys traveling, camping, hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley Davidson.
